If this is correct and it is to be £14 for an adult to enter the ground i expect some big signings in the off season as that is a large increse in the current financial situation and may see a lot of fans walk away.
bearing in mind that if you purchase a family ticket at odsal its only £16 i can see more people going that way.

I made a similar point on another topic. A few have differing opinions on this.

It is below this topic in the list.

I have only been wrong once and thats because I thought I was wrong but I was wrong I was right!

Petty authoritarians aren’t man enough to challenge the actions of a person face to face; instead they incite a forum of rumour, innuendo and half truths, and impose rude sanctions to discourage those who dare question fairness.

Are you sure this is true?

I have just been on the bulls website to find the following under 2010 ticket prices:

FAMILY TICKETS

Family tickets are available on a match by match basis offering some fantastic savings.

Please note these offers are only available when pre booking a ticket from the Bulls Ticket Office. Family tickets for the Ground (Terrace) and Main Stand are not available on the day of the Game.

Adult £16
Concessions N/A
Junior £9

Telephone bookings are subject to a £1.50 booking fee.

The way I read it is that each adult pays £16 and each Junior £9.

I might be wrong - can you explain where you get your figures from please?

get your self off then! :rolllook it's the same anywere in this league and as Helen as already stated, this is as cheap as it gets in this division, what are the club to do?? Of course , we are going to get larger attendences next season with better followed teams coming to our ground so extra revenue there for a start,we can carry on charging £11 pound and watch London skolars bring there 20 fans( all credit to them, not having a pop) or we can have Halifax, widnes etc plumping £14 a piece in?

i do take your point mr aspinall, but halifax, widnes etc all play in modern stadia with modern facilties and have very competative sides, not a dig at my own team but i cant see us competing with these teams for a good few years. if the club can afford to do season tickets for £100 surely they can do some type of loyalty scheme for those who cant afford £100 in a lump sum and knock £2 a game off the admission price, then they still get the revenue from away fans ( burnley fc did it when they got promoted i know its football) i dont have £100 to spend at the moment and im sure many others are the same.

Also in my previous post a meant £16 for an adult at odsal

1) The club have to do something to raise funds otherwise they won't have the competitive side and nice stadium you talk of.

2) Talk to Helen re-loyalty bonus for fans - your ideas might work - I'm sure she'll listen.

3) Making inaccurate posts that suggest our local rivals can admit a whole family for £16 does not do the Cougar cause any good. Incidentally the "actual" cost of the family ticket is more than that advertised because you have to make the journey to the booking office each time you want a ticket - or pay the telephone booking fee. I'm not having a pop at you, just an observation. We don't want any potential new fans scared off and at the end of the day we all want our club to do well.

4) Green Army

I don't want you to take my post the wrong way, just adding a bit of perspective.

I know 2 or 3 occasional fans who are now thinking of buying season tickets.

Whilst I know for some £14 is excessive. For the price of 7 games you get to see all the home games.

We're going to have to compete against teams with massive budgets compared to ours so price rises are inevitable.

I'll be a first-time season ticket buyer! I think it's very good value for money.
I know some football clubs let you pay for season tickets in three instalments. (Each of which would be more than the price of the whole season ticket for Cougars..!)
It's vital that the club can raise some extra revenue and some of that will inevitably come from the fans.
What about some 'loose change' collection points around the ground? After all, every little helps!

Someone go around with a sheet at half time like we did to raise funds for signing Brendon Hill
