Sadly no sambuca ..but one hell of a night around town ..dodgy kebab n several K2 choruses of 'simply the best' make the day complete ,being as it is actually ten past two am as I write this.
Massive thanks must go out to Roger Fisher , who as well as being current U18s Coach , former Cougars Academy Coach and erstwhile Dad of former Cougar product Jason Dubas -Fisher , has also (against possibly his better judgement
) led the Cats to their success this year .
I'm fairly sure that Baz does not have to contend with the perils that coaching the womens team can bring (junior offsprings , dodgy relationships , time of the monthe etc) but Rodg has taken them all in his stride and stuck by the team.
Another mention must seriously go to 'Big Ang' Pickard , 20 plus years in the Kly Ladies Team from Ladybirds to Cats and (apolgies to Woody official player of the match )but Ang WAS the stand out player today despite her 45+ years .....& b*****Ks to any of the Cougar Support who wants to tell us all that Baz is too old ..Ang showed that having an RL brain in your head still counts for a lot..
