Terrible news for Blackpool fans.

From our point of view we stand to lose a home game and the money that goes with it as well.

Is it even worth anyone buying a season ticket now? Hardly any value for money at all now.

Very sad day for blackpool fans and players and those who worked behind the scenes. Wonder if northern rail nines will still be there next year. I think if it was likes of crusaders who are rumoured to keep going if rfl would give them more time.

I feel really sorry for Blackpool (and all their previous other incarnations).

There are probably a lot more clubs close to the edge too.

It just shows that throwing money at a team is not a guarantee of long term success.
