There was controversy today when Specsavers were announced as the new kit sponsors of RFL match officials

Specsavers used to sponsor the refs in Scottish Football.

One for any of you into conspiracies. Imagine this our new coach JD being sent here by Mr Kear to see if he thinks Wakefield players could cope with the slope, then Wakey adopt a sheep as mascot (that will fool the halfwits at rfl) therefore they have a welsh connection and beg the cougars to groundshare and save them getting boot from super league;-) Sadly it would mean the demise of the bulls as everyone knows their place is a dump.

Its interesting that the council are re examining the funding for the Odsal Sporting Village. Here is post from the bulls site:

I don't think the council were going to support the Bulls directly, but the infrastructure around it would certainly have benefitted them. Looks like they might be on their own now and with no sugar daddy might find life tough.

Their ground passed the last round of franchises but next time they will be bottom of the pile.
