I see there is going to be a new squad builder.

I wonder what is happening with the old one.
I was talking to two people about the existing one. Both these people are paying members of it.
To say they are not happy is a under statement. They said they have had no feedback for months. They were saying that the discounts offered by company's were now not given any more.

I hope the new one is a improvement on the old one.

I'm not sure how many different schemes are running (or not) but we were sent an email last week telling us to cancel our direct debit then saying there would be a new scheme that would cost £11/month (with £1 going to sue ryder) called the JD Cougar Train.

Various company discounts were outlined and "Access to the V.I.P bar that will be for members, players families and players, so you will have direct access to the players post match."

jD and the cougar train has a good feel to it. We also got an email to same effect, cannot fault club for advising current members. Previously the communicationss on squad builder were hit and miss. I think the members only bar etc has been tried but not policed well enough as on a few occasions non members were let in simply becausethey were mates with someone in there which stopped me using the bar. If policed correctly we may consider using the facility again either we will continue to be in squad builder or cougar train as the aim is the same. Where JD differs to Barry is he is fresh from a super league set up and will have more recent experience as to what bits work and what does not. Barry in my view did not have much support or expertise in setting up and running this type of thing sadly.
