o/t union gets this right : Wed Apr 27, 2011 3:56 pm
Just noticed on bbc that a union team have been fined and had points deducted for fielding 3 overseas players. The premiership clubs are only allowed 2 in any matchday squad. An overseas player is anyone outside europe, carribean, africa and pacific islands. This mrans for example only 2 aussies. This contrasts with leagues overseas rules and blows out of the water the belief held by many there was little we can do to reduce the levels due to employmrnt and freedom of trade. Based 9n this we are not obliged to have the quotas in force. What does everyone else think.
