Not sure of ther practicalities of this but here goes. Advance planning needed but after each home game 2 players and 2 fans whose names are known in advance take part in a mini mastermind contest. Top 2 go to next round and losers drown their sorrows. This is repeated week after.1 round general knowledge and 1 specialist subject. In order for questions to be found advance notice of specialist subject will be needed. Question is do any of the players have the intellect of the fans whose knowledge of all things are clearly heard on match days. As mentioned whether feasible or not is for others to determine.

Completely impractical.

You want a couple of players to be learning a specialist subject when they should be learning about the 17 players and tactics they'll be facing at the forthcoming game?

I know if I was playing and wanted winning pay I'd be trawling YouTube and club sites for videos of the opposition looking to see if I could find any weaknesses to exploit.

It appeared to me that Rochdale had a good look at our first game against Toulouse because some of the tries they scored at Spotland were very similar to Toulouse's.

Just seems an unnecessary distraction for me.

A none starter I'm afraid.

When are you planing the event?
In the bar after the game, when we struggle to keep the noise down to a dull roar for Gary and JD for 2 minutes.

"Everybody be silent for 30 minutes please whilst we ask a load of random questions please."

Also it would need a volunteer to research it and run it and bar staff permission approval.

Although the concept could be entertaining, I think as Stealth says it is impracticable.
