I'm pleased that JD has been able to attract some new blood to Cougar Park. It's OK saying:

“Jake is a big, strong, wide-running centre who fits the bill for what we need. George has already played for the first team and will most likely play on the wing for us but can play centre too".

but, if they don't see the ball then there's no point in them being what they are.

In the early part of the season the ball was being whipped-out to the wings with great results but, of late, we seem to have been drawn in to 'playing down the middle' and by the time the ball has been delivered (slowly) to the wings, they have been covered.

Let's hope that the lay-off does us some good and that starting next Sunday, the ball is delivered rapidly to the centres and wings so that they can show their ability and, hopefully, get us back into winning ways.

The two new arrivals add size to our back line which I'm sure will give JD some options. Give JD and the new arrivals some time though. At times I'm shocked by the negativity shown by alleged fans. Yes we are on a poor run of form, but JD is new to the head coach role and will undoutably make some mistakes which I'm sure he will take learning from. Let's give him and the lads support rather than picking and criticising.

I just wonder if the new signings will be given a run out with the reserves this Thursday at home to Dewsbury?

The OP does have a fair point to be honest. In all the games we've lost the ball hasn't been distributed out wide as fast and often as it probably should have. We've struggled to find an answer to anyone using the umbrella defence. Whilst the new signings are most welcome and will add bulk to the side, and I'm guessing they'll play together on the right hand side, we've got to get the ball to them otherwise we might as well play with 10 forwards.

I never said he didn't!. Truth is there are a number of armchair coaches out there which is all well and good. Probably to a certain extent I'm one myself however it disappoints that a week on from the signings I'm hearing and reading negatives. I'm sure JD will know he's made some mistakes in a tactical sense and will learn from it. He's new to this after all. My plea to all is to get behind the team rather than looking for ways to slate or put them down. As per other threads, there is some good things coming out of the club so let's support the club.

I agree with Dominance that even when the club gets additional players and that is what most fans wanted it is then met with criticism and negativity what else do folk want, its getting to be like the bulls site with the moaning.

If you ever want a laugh read their stuff its enlightening (not).
