There was a buzz around the ground, from the moment you walked in.
Well i should say, from the moment i got into the car park.
The front gate was a hive of activity. The place seemed full of kids.
I was very surprised to see only one half back playing and Coleman as 18th man.
I wonder if this was a disciplinary issue, which i doubt as he was 18th man.
Was it a case of resting him for Thursdays game.
Or was it a great coaching decision. To go with a BIG TEAM and grind Donny into submission.
The first half our defence was top draw. I cant remember a game, when it was as good as it was today.
The odd mistake still crept into the game. Really wish this problem could be sorted out.
I was also surprised to see our chairman. Kicking for the crossbar challenge at half time. Well i thought it was him till i realised the guy doing the kicking had more hair
The second half saw the Donny team start to tire. Once that happened there was no coming back for them.
I also thought Duffy should have got man of the match. The saying, its not the size of the dog in the fight. Its the size of the fight in the dog that counts, springs to mind with him.
2nd half sounded great though , back to 2nd in the table.
