Call me 'old-fashioned' but I still believe that clubs who go into administration should be punished retrospectively.
If they win promotion through their own aim and greed to play at a higher level and subsequently win promotion, then I believe that they should be denied the prize for which they went into administration. Or is that far too-logical for the administrators in 'Red Hall'?
Why should they benefit from additional RFL funding, despite their points deduction? Surely it would be better for the game were the team denied the goal for which they overpaid their players or overspent.
How many clubs have gone into administration after they have won promotion? It would be interesting to see.
