Feel so sorry for their fans - as usual its them that get screwed - not good .

Dewsbury seem to think they are safe now based on a league weekly report. But with Barrow appealing nothing set in stone until process is completed.

That being said I cannot see appeal being successful.

Wow! That is some penalty

Feel for the fans, I remember how we felt at 9 points.

I understand that Des is waiting to review a written explanation of the RFL's decision, pending an appeal. If an appeal rumbles on and on where will it leave the team nominated to stay up (Dewsbury?). How can they recruit or plan expenditure?

It needs sorting quickly, cleanly and fairly.

One thing is for certain, the RFL have sent out a powerful message to those tempted to cheat.

What did they do to get a points deduction like that?
Feel for their fans, I think they were about the best bunch to come to the Cougars last (or season before last!) season.

It was a salary cap breach over a 4 year period apparently.

It reminds me of the Melbourne Storm breach a few years back. In that you looked at the squad they had and it made you wonder how they were under the cap. Barrow had a fair few players more than capable of playing Super League. You looked at the Storm side from a couple of years back and saw world beaters like Slater, Inglis, Smith and Cronk.

With this happening I just wonder the hiding of payments will have come to attention of the taxman.
