On production of your season ticket, at the ticket office, you will be able to purchase an adult ticket for £10, (normal match day price £16 and £18) or a concession ticket for £6. (normal match day price £8 and £9)You will also be able to bring a child free. There will also be ample free on-site parking at the Leigh Sports Village site. So, can anyone tell me why the Championship Clubs (both C & C1) don't/can't get their act together and agree that ALL SEASON TICKET-HOLDERS will get the same deal at 'away' games?

To my way of thinking, it's obvious to a blind man!

You not only sell more Season Tickets for your own Club (in the coming season) but you also have the potential to increase the 'away' gate and, with it, qualification for Sooper-dooper-League.

I'm sick and tired of getting emails from the RFL about £10 offers for Northern! But at least they're trying, unlike the majority of C & C1 Clubs. If there's a problem with the offer with existing Season Ticket-holders then give them someting for their faith in the Cougars BEFORE the final ticket price was known! It's basic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The offer stands for all season ticket holders, so cant see it matters when you bought your Cougars season ticket, before or now.

Where we went wrong with the season ticket offer was not offering the season tickets at a fixed price. Say £80. People would have known how much they were paying instead of waiting around to see how many people had bought them.
Season ticket holders seem to get upset that other season ticket holders from other clubs get in a discount prices . New support means more income to the club.
Think of the club and not yourselfs, the club are doing a great job and lets hope all the clubs join in on the ticket offer.

I disagree to an extent, why?

1. You mention folk waiting around to see how many had been sold. The fact is we were told there would be regular updates as regards how many were being sold on the club site. I don't think I saw a single one until a week before the deadline. Those waiting aren't going to buy one if they don't have the facts in front of them to make an informed decision.

2. It was so badly promoted it was unreal. Most folk from Keighley who weren't fans didn't even know about it. Br*dford managed to sell 10,000 + with a similar scheme. With Br*dford's they even had a stand at Bingley Music Live with 12,000 folk a day walking past it. And there seemed to be plenty of suckers willing to sign up to it there.

It would be nice to see all the clubs in the Championships show some solidarity and all implement this scheme. I suppose it depends on whether the figures add up for each individual club. I reckon you'd need between 33% and 50% more away season ticket holders to turn up in order to justify it.

I'd have a look on the Leythers board first , this has opened a bit of a can of worms , I'm fully in favour of encouraging more away support , but this idea has the potential to be abused and cost clubs money as well as make extra
