The King of Brilliance is now in Keighley : Thu Apr 12, 2012 1:26 pm
The King Of Brilliance is the untold story of James Lomas who is probably the game's first super star. A Cumbrian from Maryport, he played between 1900 and 1924 for Bramley, Salford, Oldham and York and made a number of appearances at Keighley for those clubs. Written by Graham Morris, it is now in the sports section in WH Smith in Keighley along with quite a wide selection of rugby league books including No Sand Dunes In Featherstone, Peter Fox, Neil Fox, Rugby's Berlin Wall, Billy Boston, Trevor Foster, Best In The Northern Union and also three novels all with a rugby league background, my own recently reprinted One Winter and One Autumn and also Better Than All The Rest which Ray French has described as 'an excellent and moving novel'.Well worth a look.
