Another Rugby League novel on the way. : Tue Jun 05, 2012 5:20 pm
Having now written four novels all with a strong Rugby League background, I am currently working on the next in the series. It will be set in the 2002 and 2003 seasons and like the others be inspired by the old saying about being in work "They could write a book about this place. It would be a best seller."
So far it has no title but a number of the chapters that I have now written, have. They include "Stuck On The M62", "Afternoon Tea at Bailiff Bridge", "He Was A Good Yorkshireman", "A Tale from Knowsley Road", "What's Wrong With Elvis" and "She's A Jehovah's Widnes". On Friday (June 15th) from 11 onwards I will be in Waterstones in Bradford signing copies of my fourth novel "One Autumn" and also looking out for some new ideas. So if you have any suggestions to make or are just looking for a suitable Fathers' Day present, then why not call in if you are nearby. Equally if you don't want to travel so far south, "One Autumn" is also on sale in WH Smith in Keighley. http://www.geofflee.net |
