The Next PIRAG Meeting is Thursday 17th at Cougar park.
All members are urged to attend as a number of ideas are to be discussed
/voted on including setting up a ' Volunteer force ' to help with looking after the pitch,
and also other various other fundraising ideas.
Please try to attend,thanks.
If you are unsure about joining or don't wish to join Pirag but still have good
fundraising ideas or would like any questions answering please come along
on the night.

An open letter from another Pirag member , Please read because it sort of says it all really.


An open letter to all Cougar Fans

In these difficult financial times the future of many RL clubs are in danger through lack of income.

Cougars are in a much better position than most because they have reduced the number of full time employees at the club and don't carry the level of debt some clubs have. The problem is there are not enough staff to run the day to day and match day activities to the standard we all would like, leading the fans to become unhappy. It's a classic catch 22 situation.

Some forward thinking clubs have harnessed supporter power to carry out essential tasks. The clubs who have adopted this policy have discovered a renewed community spirit and are moving forward on all fronts. I believe this is the future for the Cougars. if you agree we need your help. Lets stop criticising and do something positive together thats what made Cougarmania so wonderful.

If your interested in getting involved come to a meeting on Thursday 17th at 7.30 in the exec bar.

Together anything is possible

This Thursday (17th) 7:30pm , all welcome , main items on the agenda are
starting a group of volunteers to help maintain the pitch and also
fundraising on match days for Squadbuilder.

Please come along ,especially if you have ideas , or are willing to offer time to the
volunteer group .
