You had an excellent attack close to the line but most of that field position was given to you rather than by your own endeavour. I believe it would have been quite a different game had we made you play it from your own line. Not sour grapes, by the way, just a matter of opinion.
Listened to March on the radio and at although he is prepared to take responsibility for the debacle, it is simply not acceptable for the coach to be binned twice. I can understand player frustration when 50/50 calls are going against them, but it's called being professional and getting your head down.
A couple of players seemed to have lost it, and I can't remember seeing Andy Shickell as angry. It usually takes quite a bit of provocation to get him going.
Some of our players simply are not fit enough, a few extra pounds can help with momentum, but without legs and lungs its just lard on a stick.
Very, very disappointed. If these are the type of displays we can expect then I, for one, will be picking and choosing the matches I attend.
This is a key season, a season to stand up and be counted, not one to lie down and breathlessly whimper.
