I have been asked by the owner of a new Cougars info /stats / blog Site to let you all know it is now up and running . Feel free to comment in the blog if you have any ideas of things that you Would like to see on there. www.keighleycougarssupportersclub.co.uk I personally think it looks great and sgows a lot of promise. Don't shoot the messenger

I Thought so too ! I very rarely go on the official site as it is hard to navigate ,
Links quite often don't work and it isn't always updated much.

Not wishing to put a dampener on stuff ..good luck to whoever has started this site but surely if its an un official 'supporters' site its not best practice to just repeat what's written on the official site and certainly not to rip off pics , graphics etc... Josh especially puts a fair bit of work into the official site , match blogs/reports, travel packs and match previews etc .I'm not saying that there shouldn't be any cross over at all but any new site should contain new original stuff written from a different angle not just be a clone of the official site saints /giants supporters sites http://www.redvee.net/news.php http://www.giantssupporters.co.uk/index1.html

Rach has a fair point. I'm sure it will develop its own personality over time, but it just feels like an extension of the main site at the moment.

We've seen various club owners over the years, some good, some bad, some pretty much hostile to certain views held by the fans. So my question is, is it truly independent? Does it have the intention of expressing the full spectrum of views held by the fans (good and bad) or will it be censored and sanitised to the views of its creator(s), or even the views of the club?

Good luck with it, these things seem to be a labour of love.

P.S. I tried to look at the menu for fixture list and squad list on my iPad this morning and neither worked.

Was given permission from the club to use images for the website

Yes i have cloned a lot of the official website but have also added old info no longer able to be access on the official website due to it falling off the latest news and no way to view anymore.

Being a first time visitor or someone that does not visit the site that often i felt a lot of interesting info was lost as it dropped from the latest news sidebar especially all the hard work josh puts in his posts

I don't disagree with you there but looking at the comment above is the reason i added alot of the clubs website content to begin with.
In time it will take on its own personality with help from supporters and maybe the club

I will be posting my own opinions on the website and in noway going to censor other comments posted unless language used goes to far

Thank you it is a labour of love and with help from others it may grow into a interesting site for people to visit

The links worked fine on my ipad and phone but i did have problems with the links on the ipad if the site had been double tapped and zoomed going to look into this

I think we should be told as it does say Supporters on the site
