The fans fundraising page which has since gone down to my understanding has had all proceeds transferred to the RFL Benevolent Fund. Statement from the club below:
An RFL Benevolent Fund Just Giving page for the family of Danny Jones has been created. The page today alone at the time of writing has raised over £32,000 for the family of Jones. You can donate here: https://www.justgiving.com/dannyjones29 Cougars Media Manager Joshua Chapman is also fundraising for the Benevolent Fund with #FirmThePerm. The fundraiser is in tribute of Josh’s long running bet with Danny Jones over his trademark hairstyle with a target of £1027, the amount of points Jones scored for the club.
