Stay Healthy Start Writing : Sat Aug 14, 2021 5:25 pm
"Stay Healthy Start Writing" is the title of an article in the July issue of the Forty 20 magazine. It makes its readers aware of the importance of keeping mentally as well as physically fit. This is something that not only applies to older people but also to younger players when they retire from playing. My suggestion to achieve this is to spend some time each week working on writing a novel based around your own life and times.
This is something that I started to do in 1988 and have enjoyed doing ever since. My novels are based on the old saying about work that "They should write a book about this place. It would be a best seller". and all set against a strong rugby league background. I have also written three pages of general advice to encourage other rugby league people how to do something similar. If this interests you or maybe an older relative or friend E Mail me at wgeofflee@gmail.com and I'll send them to you. Just ask for "Geoff Lee's RL Guidelines". In addition have a look at my website at http://www.geofflee.net |
