Before i try to warm up the M.M.M. or G.G. (remember sponsorship still open) 1 egg n a bull
I m afraid im the barer off very very very Bad news with regards 2 Crigglestone players that has devastated the tiny ex mining village and the surrounding areas as far wide , and to some extent even parts of Rotherham are reeling in shock.
No official comment as yet been made by any official from the club , nor any of the coaching staff but the the coaching assistant who is normally of the 12s who is normally very jolly and always ready for a go on his at home D.J. Giant Karaoke system could just manage to shrug his shoulders , sniffle and go for a beer .
Whilst no officail statement as yet been made the big rumour is that at least two players have a poorly belly and that the effect of this will mean that come kick off time on Saturday it may well be that Crigg players are running round scatting their heads with all circling the ball shouting marimba arumba ruba marimba arumba ruba"
Im not at liberty to say who's who but here's one of my favorite pictures just to keep you amused and so your not to disappointed
marimba arumba Aruba
and now for the M.M.M. / G.G.

Are Sandal Saracens a new club? Sounds like they've got a pretty decent set up down there, with Richard involved in the coaching too. Wish I were back in Wakey, and they had an U4's (not for me obviously, although i may behave like that sometimes...).

Yes mate, we are a new club and though we've only been formed a couple of weeks there's been an immense amount of work done, things achieved and huge progress made.
The facilities are fantastic, we've got a floodlit pitch, 3G, 2x5 a side area and all sorts of other training areas. The dressing rooms can hold up to 86 players at the same time, we've got an equaly big, separate female changing room and shower area. The clubhouse is very welcoming, warm and well appointed and doesn't charge ridiculous amounts. We have free use of a huge function room for fundraising, presentation nights and other events (watch this space WJL).
We've established club links with Ossett Academy & Outwood Grange (over 5,000 pupils between them). We are in tals to bring a girls team and an U12s, we have ambitions to grow the number of age groups to as many as possible.
We've had meetings with Trinity, the RFL and a number of Grant organisations and plans are taking shape for future developments.
There's loads more, we are ambitious, driven and capable so the opportunities are endless.
Most importantly we have a development philosophy that we will enforce uniformly throughout the club and all age groups.
We want to win but not at the expense of the following: Athletic Development Rugby League Development Personal Development Respect, Reputation & Integrity
Lofty goals, some might say naive but were adamant that we'll do things better and strive to create a club that produces quality players who are in possession of the key skills of the game as early as is possible. If opportunities to play at a higher standard become available to our players we are committed to ensuring that they will not be let down by a culture of poor coaching and pot hunting.

That's commitment for you, at U13 level.

As for the rest... sounds fantastic! Good luck! I've no choice over here but to send my lad to a union club, but at that age, with no contact stuff, what harm can it do? If we return to Wakey in the next 10 years, I hope you and Bren will still be there, and I'll send him down.

out of an amazing coincidence i was going to start a new discussing , fed up of just writing about one men teams and slagging each other off and not paying attention to the efforts that are made by all who give everything for their club . chairmen , coaches , kids , statos etc .
i was sat down at the P.C to inform you that im opening a poll is it morally right to pay kids per try / per win etc .
im keeping qite so far but im going to point out to my eldest as come back from his reffing duties today where he as informed us that his cousin has earnt him self 25 quid today from a family who cannot afford a pot to pee in . yes i can say this because its my bloody sister who will no doubt be moaning on Tuesday poverty again and due to this is now not coming to mothers day dinner. my lad see a lot of this he said but he just does not mention it .
