UP THE TRIN !!!!

Grix becoming extremely promising? : Tue Feb 10, 2009 1:22 am
Grix in my opinion is making huge strides to becoming an excellent player for us he has improved 80% since we first got him, he looks stronger (well done Colin) , He looks faster and has a better brain. It was a quality pass by him for that first try. Slowly but surely this lad is developing into a good first team player and I think a bit more work he will be a quality stand off. The World cup looks to have gave him a spring in his step and he looks like a senior player out there for us. With performances like this Rooney in my opinion will struggle two get his name back on the team sheet. Keep going Grix good stuff!!!

Grix is a star, and was of the same opinion for the 2nd half of last season - seems he can play in almost any position and still shine. Has the knack of just popping up in the right place at the right time too.

Great acquisition by JK

"In fairness the Wildcats spluttered sporadically. When they were good they were very, very good and when they weren’t - they gave away penalties."

When I posted the thread asking the question should Grix be our starting No. 6 the majority of posters agreed.

He showed at the WC that he is brave, dependable, talented and a good reader of the game.

Considering how relatively inexperienced Grix is, at playing in this position at the top level, just think how good he can get :D

After his performance against Wigan it would be hard to justify picking Rooney ahead of him when he returns to fitness.

What i like about Grix, is his determination, work ethic and support play. I get the feeling he is very much a team player and very unselfish. He seems very determined and self motivated.

The lad has a bright future

Grix had an excellent WC, imo he could go on to be a real star of sl, i've been very impressed with his performances <when i bobbed down on 7 occasions to watch my "second team", at BV last season!>

This kid is class and he can also play anywhere in the backline with equal tremendousness<that's a new word ive just invented>
