Seriously, though, it's about making it easier for people with a casual interest to buy tickets in advance, on a whim, if you like. That involves smart pricing too. Add any extra effort to the process, and a lot of people just won't do it. And they probably won't pay 20 quid on the gate either. Net result, they don't turn up.
