Let us hope the Chairman is doing his utmost to encourage Brian Smith to stay at the club for the next 2 years. Although it has been stated previously that BS and MC have agreed not to discuss plans for next year until the end of this season.

My view is that we need to retain Brian Smith and hope he want to take on the challenge of helping to rebuild this club

He'll probably feel like it when this season is over. I dare say he's gotten a few more grey hairs over the last couple of months.

I know that a year is a long time in politics but, Smith was said to be 61 when he took over a few months ago.

9 years in 5 months is some ageing process !
