Turning point : Thu Apr 13, 2017 11:38 am
Last Easter was a turning point for the club, one that allowed us to enter the top eight and regain the club some credibility. This Easter will be no different other than the possibility that it could have the alternative effect - sending us backwards after weeks of moving forward.
It’s not so much about winning, as both games are big asks. It is however very much about performing and performing well.
If we don’t turn up tomorrow then we will be facing a drubbing of epic proportions. I was at Wheldon Road when Cas put 80 past us and I know there were mitigating circumstances but it still made for the longest and most painful experience I’ve ever had at a RL game!
Every player must commit 100% for the full match, nothing less will do. It won’t alter whatever limitation we have as a squad, but it will stop Cas from exploiting them to the full.
As for winning, it’s possible but only if we achieve the above first - Cas won’t have a bad day at the office I can guarantee that much.
Same applies to Wigan.
