I thought Carneys mentioned securing our super league place , never said it about any other team. No mention of Wigan or Warrington also trying to secure their place for next year , or is it just me being touchy.
In fairness to the "securing our place" comment, it's not applicable to any other clubs, well not yet anyway.
Warrington and Saints are looking much stronger now and neither of them will be in the bottom 4.
9th spot looks like either us or Catalan, unless we start taking points from games against other top 8 sides.
Apart from a great win at Saints and beating Salford at home, we have struggled against the bigger sides (I know that we could have beaten Hull).
Two points against Shudds next week will be great and then we will find out whether we can scalp some of the "bigger" sides.
One thing for sure is that, our defence is massively improved and although averaging 20 points against can be improved, it also means that you will win plenty of games.
Just like last season, big things are possible for Trinity this season, if we can stay healthy.
Daft as it may seem, we are only 2 points off a top 4 spot
Up the Trin !
