It never ceases to amaze me the stick the trade union movement gets. No one claims that it is a perfect beast, but it's opponents are all too quick to point to its mistakes without mentioning the, quite simply, incredible achievements.

It's an interesting irony that Vasty accuses lefties of shouting people down...

Anyhow - my point about this is that the Tories were cynically using our plight for a bit of election PR; my hope is that at the same time, MC was using them to apply pressure to Box and co.

That Yorkshire radio piece on MC seems to say that they're planning to try and borrow the money somehow and the developer pay back when the new market development gets to the Trigger Point

Was hoping to read about the work being done by MC and the club to secure a new community stadium.. and all I read is the bleating of nostalgic trade unionist activists and the descendants of the 50p millionaires created by Thatcher capitalism!

I get so annoyed when people see things in such black and white terms... good or evil... right or wrong... just STOP IT!

We need radical 'middle of the road' goodwill and positive thinking to make this happen... and the sooner people stop seeing division and start acting with common cause... the better!

I'm not sure we humans have that capacity in us though!
