Messing about at the pob, is an absolute blight.
I mean, wrap the ball up during the tackle to stop the offload is fair enough, but once we're on the ground the opportunity to offload has passed, we shouldn't be having all this hands in, on the ball, intentional arm tangling and $rseing about, heck, if we have to wait to ptb till there isn't some div with his hand in or around it, the game will grind to a halt.
It was clash of the ball fiddlers yesterday Hull and Wire, its no surprize there was frustration on both sides at pob, they can't complain and deserve each other.
During the WC, the oz refs seemed to have at least a bit of a handle on it, but here it just goes on and on.

I disagree. The Oz refs have a handle on it only because they aren't as obsessed with an ultra fast play the ball and you get longer at the ruck to get off the opposing ball carrier. This means that there isn't a penalty every two minutes and also that the attacking player isn't constantly trying to milk it by holding arms in etc. That said I think sometimes they let too much go on but I still prefer it that way rather than penalties constantly preceding tries like over here. TBF to Thaler he tends to let things go a bit longer and tries to avoid blowing I'd have him over Child any day
