Not seen much so far didn't see much from him at Catalan last year whats he giving that Batchelor won't? Im not sure. Questionable signing money could be used to give Arona a contract.

Well he wasn't questionable when he was signed so questions now are retrospective, which is an easy thing to do.
Horo is a squad member and will be used as such, personally I think he's doing ok, I mean he ain't tearing up any trees in the influence department but he's never short of effort.
I dunno what he's giving that Batch won't but this is a squad based sport and I'm certain the coaching staff are choosing the team most likely to win games, if that includes Horo then that's ok with me.
Nobody in this squad is wimping out on the field so you're gonna have to have some big skill set in Batches game or a squad rotation to get him in over Horo.
I think Batch will play Monday, its his opportunity to shut the door on Horo, but Batch has to take it.
