I thought that the rule was that once a conversion is made, the team to restart the match have 30 seconds on the clock to restart; if not then after 30 seconds the ref stops the clock until the game restarts. I said this at the time and it is pretty much what Kendall did, he stopped the clock after close to 30 seconds after Hampshire kicked the goal.
Having said that I also said if we were in the same position as Leeds we would have slowly walked back too. Unsporting conduct if you like but virtually everyone does it.
I think what was a lot worse was last season in our 2nd game of the season, away at Huddersfield where the home side blatantly ate up the clock by delaying numerous goal line drop outs in the final few minutes of the match. Is it just coincidence that Kendall was ref that day too and did absolutely nothing about it.

I would like to think that we would, however as someone said earlier we are a little bit too honest for our own good and I suspect we would just go and get on with the game.
Compare and contrast Wakey's reaction to conceding a penalty to Leeds/Wigan/Saints/Hudds, in fact almost everyone. Ref constantly has Ablett or Tompkins or Wilkin or Brough "having a word" whereas we just accept it. Now I'm not in any way advocating the behaviour of those other teams but we are killing ourselves and not making referees think by just being too nice IMO.
