As any trinity fan tonight was very disappointing, but in truth, I have posted before that our forwards do not play as a unit, they run individual to be tackled individually, they do not or ever run to support the man with the ball. They also never lay deep or deep in a double line, running in opposite angles giving the half back options with several runners creating movement of defenders, watch the best teams, they do this regularly, we do not. What we do is a single line, flat taking the ball nearly stood enabling tacklers to pick out the man who will receive the ball !
Either bad coaching or poor play by our players, always hoping rather than making things happen !

If I had a quid for every time I heard "run on to it", "too flat" or "don't pass it to him when he's stood still" shouted from the crowd, I'd be a very rich man.

Sometimes our attacking efforts stop before they even start.

Perhaps people in the crowd don't shout it loud enough then King Street. because they carry on doing it. Telegraphing every move.

Well said Redscat.

I would also add that we often stood so far from the acting half back that the Leeds players were on us like a flash.

We failed to change our style to match Leeds quick defending and as a result put ourselves under too much pressure which contributed to some poor decision making.

But we've always played the same I don't think anything is going to change anytime soon. But it's funny us armchair coaches see this week in week out but the coaches that really matter don't

Hopefully they do watch TV playback.

If we armchair coaches are wrong say so but it was very clear that we fail to respond to situations where things are not going right.

Not easy to put it right but I feel that we are lacking a leader on the field to put it right.

Not sure if we have that person at the moment but always have felt that a forward is best.

However we don't have that person at present and feel that Brough is more vociferous than Miller and therefore should be the captain.
