Rugby AM Interview : Tue Jul 09, 2019 10:50 am
Got round to watching last weeks Rugby AM with Neil Hudgell from HKR & he had some very interesting things to say about past & present. He talked about his experience Of Wembley he didn't mention any names but they've only been there once recently he said " We got to Wembley but the problem for me was, I sniffed that there was too many people at our club that were happy to be there & it struck me when I went to the pre-match meal that that HKR where there as part of the prosession for the coronation of Leeds & we were only too happy to be second best. I always remember being on the team coach the music came on & the chatter starting & i thought there’s people here that don’t really care as much as I do about this because it was a deftly experience for me this I couldn’t face going back to Hull for a couple of days" Which says to me, like us now were never prepared for games we've got where we are we can take it easy then injuries happened & he's not able to motivate the players. he went on to say What made you get rid of Tim Sheens “ I took a long time to come to a conclusion that we probably need to refresh things or we’d end up in the same position as we’ve been in the last three years” We need fresh ideas or we're seriously in trouble we can't afford to wait till next season because that might be too late most of you will disagree because that's what you do but it was a good insight about how Chester can't motivate the players. We have a great squad but have no leader & we just don't want to play for each other.
