I would think clubs like Wakefield Trinty will be pleased that a club like Toronto Wolfpack will make Super League next season
as they will not take any money from the broadcasting deal distribution that all the Super League clubs enjoy.
To replace a club taking their money out will benefit all Super League clubs next year.

At the back end of last season,neither Leigh Centurions or Featherstone rovers could muster the full complement of players - when they played each other,prior to intervention,and after other Championship clubs were short of players.

It is a stupid idea and always was. It takes more players from the already small pool on the gamble that Rugby League will eventually take over Canada and they will eventually be developed. Besides the fact that we will already be dead by the time we see a significant enough rise in the sport in Canada, clubs over here will most certainly die and part of that will be due to reduced home gates against Toronto and other potential expansion clubs and the fact that they take players that could be plying their trade for them on loan or on contracts. It's a great holiday for a couple of players though. Another club with a multi-millionaire backer throwing his money at it and ultimately it will end in tears when he gets bored or realises just how long it will take for the concept to pull in enough support. The thought og going to watch my team against Toronto at home is not a very appetising one. Just like Catalan. Not to mention it is a heartland club that will have to make way for this charade more than likely. You can expand the game overseas but it will be at the expense of Rugby League fans over here. Guaranteed.

Not for me either...would much prefer to see a strong Cumbrian team...the likes of Toronto, New York etc will be the beginning of the end for bread and butter supporters IMO...what do us paying supporters know though...
