It’s possibly a bit soon to be sure and I may be kidding myself but I thought he actually had a bit of an understanding with Lyne. It’s been a constant and reasonably fair complaint that Lyne doesn’t pass to his winger enough. Yesterday he only failed to do so once, which is not unreasonable. One of Liams two tries came straight from a Lyne pass, the sort Foxy would have been proud of.
If it’s a genuine rapport then we are on a real winner. Kay knows how to score and Reece is a powerful centre. Won’t be as spectacular as Bill and TJ but just as effective.
Credit to CC, for the most part and considering his budget he makes some shrewd signings, especially in the backs, which I suppose is odd or an ex forward.
