I disagree....your above summary is obviously factually correct, alegend, and looking back at it objectively, we probably didn't deserve to win but Eggy and the rest of the "Chester out" brigade (who have now gone extremely quiet !!) only ever come on here to slag the team off , they cannot give praise where praise is due as it doesn't suit their agenda. We have won 3 out of the last 5 games and but for a couple of iffy decisions could have won 4 - that would have been an 80% win ratio - which given the un-precedented circumstances of this season isn't a bad way to finish ?? Huge credit must go to the whole club for getting us out onto the park every week to play more games than any other club despite the well-documented issues that have affected the club since the season resumed and yet Eggy and his mates refuse to acknowledge the fact that the boys DID turn it around at the back end of the season and at least give us some positivity going into the off-season and something to build on for next year. Genuine supporters do just that - SUPPORT - through the good times and the bad, but to keep slagging the whole club off, even when we started playing well and winning games, makes you wonder why they call themselves supporters ???
If his summary is factually correct then where is your problem? your cheap shots are noticeable, maybe the Chester out brigade have gone quiet because they've said all that needs to be said on the subject and realise it's pointless trying to flog a dead horse to the hard of hearing, speaking of which, I won't insult you personally by accusing you of being in the rose tinted brigade, but just a simple question on the subject, does they're opinion that's those with the rose tinted specs in someway trump the opinion of the Chester out brigade, and if so on what grounds? does somebody that buys 3 trinity tops probably because he can, and contributes to other money making schemes that keep the club afloat as against others that haven't got the money to throw around become a more genuine supporter, probably yes in your world, and maybe in your world it also makes their opinion more valid as well. Just a couple of other points as well, most of the other clubs have had the same problems as we have with this covid business and injuries, they've also had to endure the iffy decisions brought on by inconsistent refereeing decisions I don't think we have the monopoly on that score, I don't recollect many of the Chester out brigade coming on here slagging the team off en bloc, just a minority criticising the odd individual, as you rightly say egg banjo comes in for some criticism but to say him and his mates is egging it somewhat as I haven't seen any indication that he's got any mates if it helps, me personally I don't do criticism on here as it has a habit of coming back to make you look silly, but I notice that you stated that the boys turned it around, is that the players themselves in which case that contradicts your thoughts on the Chester out brigade, or do you believe the boys and Chester turned it around, and if so where has he got this magic formula from.
I don't have a problem with "alegend's" facts....I never said I did...it's people's persistent negativity and refusal to give praise where praise is due (such as Egg Banjo and other's) that irks me. "Cheap shots"...what cheap shots ??...how is asking someone to be positive and give praise where it is due a "cheap shot" ?? It is very easy to criticise when things aren't going well, and yes I was one of them, but come on, after the guys finally turned it around in the last few games, then let's at least give all concerned some praise for doing so !! You're reading far too much into my point Wayne (as well as going off on a couple of tangents).....I probably am one of the rose-tinted brigade, as you put it, but I am not blind though. Of course our inherent problems haven't gone away overnight, but there are signs of improvement, so after all the negative comments that were posted on here over the past few months, then surely some people could eat just one slice of humble pie (I had two !!) and give the whole club a bit of praise for their endeavours ??? Go on, give it a go....it might just make you feel better

The thread was about Liam Moore who incidentally thought he made 2 blunders, one being koppy's ball strip and the other jones-Bishops disallowed try which incidentally was confirmed by the video ref who could have over ruled him, other than that no more iffy decisions than anybody else, so I'm surprised how the Chester out business came to the fore resulting in my calling it a cheap shot which was unnecessary in the context of the thread, maybe you are blind though, maybe you can only see what you want to see regarding what's happening at the club, conversely maybe the Chester out brigade only see what they want to see, like yourself it's just a point of view and not be used sarcastically to score cheap shots, that's what irks me, personally I keep my criticisms' to myself that way there's no comebacks which helps when you don't like the taste of humble pie like me, as for losing it devastates me that's probably why you've copped it
Think you can see why some fans would like too see Chester gone .SL teams that do well have a good 6,7 and 9 who can make attacking plays We have not had a proper 6,7 and 9 combination all this season never mind a attacking combination though Mr Chester has chance to fix this in close season but instead brought in players that have done nothing to make the team stronger .Batty lookes as though he could do a job but on loan.Keeping fingers cross there is some Quality brought in .At least we should find out n next few weeks if there is\was any truth about the dressing room
With regards refereeing decisions, I thought I heard the one in the Wigan game give them a penalty for a ball steal because the second Huddersfield player had dropped off. I thought this was allowed because I have seen it in several other games.
Think you are been a bit hard on Egg Banjo We did not start playing till K Wood went to 9 and Walker played at 6 .Ok we had a good try not given .When Salford had 12 men we have away a stupid penalty.Salford got a try given from a forward pass so did we .Same old story to many defensive mistake,( 2 trys that they score from nothing) and I'll discipline .

Yes, the thread IS supposed to be about Liam Moore and I am glad that he has now acknowledged that he made 2 mistakes in the game, but as is frequently the case, the thread has got side tracked onto other topics, but this wasn't my doing...I was commenting on the fact that 'alegend' felt Egg Banjo was being harshly criticised. As for the bit about "sarcastically scoring cheap shots", I honestly don't know where you're coming from...yet again, you are reading more into my post than actually exists I am as devastated as you are that we lost, I think you will find most posters on here feel exactly the same way....that's why we come on here - because we are passionate Trinity fans - but trust me, that humble pie doesn't taste as bad as some people think it will

It IS allowed in the NRL, Scarlet but not in SuperLeague. I can't remember which game it was a few weeks ago, but the same happened there and one of the defenders basically said to the ref that he had dropped off the tackle so it was a one-on-one strip but the ref said that once the second tackler had made contact and then dropped off, that a strip was not allowed.
