I've no love for Ganson. I can't remember if he was disciplined for that but he should have been. Not for cheating but for going to see the ref during the game.
But that isn't the evidence. The evidence of cheating would be the decisions made.

There are plenty of times where fans feel mistreated only to find that the decisions weren't so bad when watched back on TV. The club didn't make a big deal about it. It would be easy to prove as it would have been on video.

The Club did make a big deal about it at the time and I believe there was an official complaint (I may be wrong on that), but it soon appeared to fizzle out.

I'm just playing devil's advocate now as I have no evidence but there are lots of times in a game where the momentum shifts and a side suddenly struggles and gets penalised.
Was Hanson wrong for getting involved. Absolutely.
Did the ref cheat? I don't know, but in all the cases you mention of corruption above, they got a benefit if power or money or something else.
What's Roby going to get out of it.

I honestly can't imagine Sts want Hanson to try and change the game either.

Just some facts for you, as you seem to think some of what is being stated has no merit;

During Ganson`s tenure there has been 9 referee departures;

A few names from that list went public, others did not but the ones that did:

- Joe Cobb, left after been bullied and "Unfairly influenced" by a senior member of the RFL refereeing team, what does this mean?
- George Stokes left and referred to the RFL as the "the least professional organisation in the world” - Again doesn't quite seem to fit in with your thoughts on what the RFL are capable of.
- Thomason, quits the game shortly after - "It’s such a shame because we both loved doing what we were doing but the politics made it impossible.”
- Silverwood suspended 3 times after allegedly breaking RFL Policy quits the game after an employment tribunal.
- Sam Ansell suspended after allegedly breaking RFL Policy then quit his role
- Thaler suspended after allegations from another referee, shortly after reinstated with no explanation what so ever.

You seriously have that much confidence in the integrity of the RFL refereeing department that you think it is beyond the realms to suggest they might have an agenda in a certain situation?

Apart from the being influenced by a senior member, none of those are related to cheating.

Do i think the RFL is unprofessional... Absolutely. In the sense that it isn't well run.
But I don't think it's corrupt.
