You'll not see many of my posts as they are sometimes in positive threads like the Academy one or the leafleting initiative, the areas you steer clear of.

Oh I think this poster has been haunting these forums long before MC turned up. You can never be sure but has a passing resemblance to a certain Rhubarb Triangulist to name but one.

Even if he isn’t there have been so many poop stirring moaners on here of a similar ilk through the years it’s hard to believe he wasn’t at least one of them.

This is the next problem. I think many posters on here will expect Willie, or whoever comes in next coach,to hit the ground running
(A bit like CC did -remember?) but in most cases it simply won't happen.
Any new coach needs something some supporters won't allow - Time!

The issues we have is that we don't have enough support or a big money backer to sufficiently fund the club. Despite the over the top press release excusing Chester's record (Watson will have faced similar challenges and uet got Salford to two finals), he is right in what he's saying about the difficulties we face.

there isn't a single 1st team player on furlough and hasn't been since pre-season started

At least the new coach, be it Willie or a new face, has some time to asses who they want here for next season and to see which players are actually up for the battles that lie ahead.
Perhaps the story of last season about the player revolt had more truth in them than was admitted to and at least if a group of senior players wanted rid of Chester, they have got their wish and we SHOULD see some kind of instant response.

Personally, I would like a coach who first gets them super fit & able to play 80 mins at the speed of the top four, learn to be tactically aware able to change tactics on field in play. Also a coach who can transpose our academy players into first framers & trust them !
As per Huddersfield, youngsters naieve but make up by speed & fitnes, some times, some matches.
We need to be a full professional club with new protocols, those not wanting to do/carry out these protocols should be cleared out,
Breaking their contract etc.
Be mean on protocols, keep them kean.
