Stato Time : Mon Aug 16, 2021 10:13 am
Haven't looked at the stats recently. I figured it wouldn't be fun.But after yesterday, a few gems popped up.
From a season point of view
Big Dave is top of the pile with offloads. 36, with next behind him at 31.
Tom is top of the average gain per carry. He gets at least 12.33 metres per ball carry. Next behind is 11.5 but that's off 2 runs. Next with a significant number of carries is 11.08
Alas Miller is 4th on the missed tackle list. He's on 80% tackle success but is making a significant number with 226 and 56 missed. This one is a bit misleading because top of missed tackles table is Dwyer but he is on 90% success rate. He just attempts a lot more than most.
Similarly, Kershaw is 4th in the errors table with 21 but the top 10 are only split by 2 errors
We have no one in the top 20 for clean breaks.
From the game yesterday
Jay Pitts made 33 tackles and didn't miss one.
Similarly, Joe Arundel made 16 and only missed 1. Lino made 23 and only missed 1.
That's why they didn't progress down the right. Outstanding job on that side. Pitts makes the difference in my opinion.
On the left
Ashurst also made 33 but missed 2
Senior made 7 and missed 3
Miller made 12 and missed 4
We were strongest down the middle
Fifita made 27 and missed none
Arona made 19 and missed 1
Tanginoa made 21 and missed none
Westerman made 25 and missed none
Battye made 21 and missed 1
Aydin made 4 tackles and missed none.
Walker made 25 and missed none
Kay made 18 and missed 3
In terms of carries
Senior did surprisingly well, taking the ball up 16 times (most in the team) with an average gain of 9 metres each carry
Big Dave and Kelepi both had impressive stats
DF - 1 try, 27 tackles with no misses,13 carries for 106 metres, 3 off loads with 2 errors
KT - 0 try, 21 tackles with no misses, 14 carries for 107 metres, 0 offloads with 0 errors
