Lam's press statement could have been copy and paste from one of Chester's.
Just shows how easily it can turn with a couple of injuries or covid disruption or loss of confidence

Hardaker, Gildart, Hastings, Darrell or Bateman didn't all just become bad players over night.
Nor did Lam become a bad coach.

It will however take a good coach to turn it around.

Wigan are really missing a decent hooker. Both Horrocks and Borough are having mares in that position at the moment.

The biggest issue however is the coach.

In my opinion, I think Wigan have made the mistake of been far too reliant on your production line, and the young Wigan lads in that team just aren`t up to the level of been a top 4 side. Not saying there not SL players but I don`t rate Byrne, Partington or Havard at that level, I don`t think there any better than the likes of Adam Tangata IMHO yet they are expected to be a top 4 side? When you sprinkle a few aging players into the squad and a few players that are leaving then it comes up with a mid table SL team which IMO is what Lam is working with.

I agree with PT, Wigan look like us at our worst in the fact when you watch them with the ball, you just can`t ever see them scoring unless its a complete fluke.

I will pass on ,are Wigan worse than us, Till after the HKR game and Leeds ,though I was one of the few who though we did ok at Cas after a bad start

Going back to the original OP, when was the last time we were on TV? It seems a lifetime, whilst the same clubs are on TV every week.

Think Sky are just wanting to show top 6 or 7 teams .Can not say the reason we are not on TV is because we are to boaring ,because the rugby that is been served up by the so called top 6 is just as bad as the rugby we play .Have not watched a complete game for month's on TV
