I don’t know how the % is worked out, but if Trinity won their next 2 games (Leigh, Hull fc) and Hull fc lose their next 2 (Wigan, Trinity) could Trinity possibly pinch 8th position?

Yes that would be right. We can't quite get 7th unless we play the Salford fixture.

Just to add the arithmetic...
Current positions: Hull FC 8.5 wins from 19 = 44.74% Trinity 8 wins from 22 = 36.36%
Potential final positions: Hull FC 8.5 wins from 21 = 40.48% Trinity 10 wins from 24 = 41.67%
Wonder if we would avoid an early cup tie if finish 8th as usually bottom 4 play round earlier. Knowing our luck format will be changed with cup being in May and we wouldn’t benefit.
Introduce a promotion for the last home game of the season. Something to encourage home support and hopefully get fans returning next season. Hull will probably bring a good following and the atmosphere could be one to remember. Come on MC have a go.
