Hi All,

As of today il no longer be posting on the forum.

Please don't take this as a "me me me" post, I have just genuinely enjoyed posting on here and without realising it until now it has been a big part of my life speaking with people I've never met every day! Been on here almost everyday a long time and It would feel wrong to just dissappear without a trace or without a goodbye.

I may or may not be back in the future dependant on how "life" goes but regardless I have thoroughly enjoyed talking/debating and even falling out at times with everyone on here. All the best to everyone for the future to everyone, even you vasty and more importantly all the best to Wakefield Trinity, the one thing that has kept me going for so long in difficult times.

All the best. I stepped back from social media some time ago and you realise just how much time you spent that you could have spent doing other things like trips out with the family etc.

Shame as you make some good posts along the way. Must admit though i’ve cut right back on social media and have promised myself moving forward that i will wean myself off this site as well. End of the season seems like a good finishing point given as this season is my last going to games, sadly i’ve very much fallen out of love with RL. Always thought those who commented but never watched the games were hypocrites, i don’t intend to join them!

FWIW this is the only social media I do, not even sure if this counts.

Even then my output depends totally on how busy I am at work. Other than post match I don’t post very often out of work hours.

I used to and it drove me mad, when I think of some of the epic and pointless arguments I got involved in and the time I wasted I cringe.

I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say Social media is as toxically addictive and mentally harmful as drink to some, minus the physical issues.

Truth is once you’ve said it you can’t really take it back, maybe on here but not the other outlets. Ones that contain nutters who make the nutters on here look like rational people.

To chill out when things get heavy on here, take the dogs a walk or the kids to the park is my advice. Then don’t click back on the topic that so upset you.

Let’s be honest really it’s only one person that makes this place unpleasant
If you ignore him it’s a good place to talk about Wakey

Real shame
How many more must we lose from here because of a small minority
