When you look at the Championship final standings and IF this was the basis for choosing the top 20 sides, York, Dewsbury, Newcastle, Sheffield, Oldham and Swinton would all face the chop and drop into the 3rd tier.
RL is right on the precipice and the next move, designed to breath new life into the sport, could utterly destroy many heartland clubs.
The driving factor here is the greed of the top 4/5 clubs, desperate to protect their Sky revenue but, at what cost to the rest of the sport ?
Cutting the top flight to 10 will be a mistake.
