The Ideal winning team would consist of six Nigel Bells two David Toplisses (or is that Toplii), four Neil Foxes and a Geoff Wraith at the back. That would do.

That would be a truly dreadful team but I suspect you were being a bit tongue in cheek.

However one Nigel Bell, one David Topliss and one Neil Fox, that's a different story, that would be a transformation!

Belly wouldn't win us any games but he'd stop us from losing almost any.

Toppo would create in a way that Miller never will (even though I rate Miller) and at the same time transform Lino's options at SH and above all feed the beast.

The beast being Fox and his new best mate TJ, can you imagine the devastation!

Neil Fox and Ian Brooke in the centres together with Topliss feeding them.
Brooke is often overlooked because of his illustrious partner but played a lot of games for GB and was a great talent in his own right.

I spoke to David Barrands at the HoF night and he said he had a trial game to see how good he was (came over from South Africa). He scored two tries and they gave him a contract but he said Neil literally placed to ball gently in his hands with a perfect pass each time. Said he couldn't fail to score as Neil had left all the defenders on the floor in his wake.
Barrands was no mug though, as he played for Great Britain in his own right.

N Fox ad a old winger J Etty playing out side him all season when they bet Hull at Wembley ,a bit of speed over 25 yard and he scored about 25 trys in the season .Scored in every round of the cup except the final .Most trys were down to the skill of Fox .Your bringing back happy memories
