Slightly OTT. My biggest bug with night matches is that by the time it’s finished you never really have time to savour or get rid of the disparity before you go to bed. Hence regardless of the result you wake up with a slightly empty feeling for the rest of the following day. Or is that just me?

Nope not just you. From a supporters perspective I can hardly find a positive of night games.
Maybe the atmosphere is better, that's about all.

I do like night matches for exactly that reason. I've no idea why but the atmosphere just seems better.
Maybe my mum let's me stay up later than you guys

The corporate stuff is supposed to be an easier sell on a Friday night but, the one sure thing is that MC & Co will know when the club makes most money.
However, TV gets first dibs and for the fans, knowing when games are going to be played is the major thing.

In terms of fans attending games, changes at short notice screw things up for everyone.
