I'm not sure how many of the current NRL clubs are still owned by a Leagues club. Does anybody know? As far as I can see the ones owned by Leagues Clubs are: Penrith St George Illawarra Parramatta North Queensland Cowboys Newcastle Knights https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_NRL_club_owners I've been in the Penrith and St George Clubs, Penrith in particular is huge and had elev restaurants and six bars and a huge amount of 'Pokies'. It looks like a Vegas Casino. An article on t;internet I've just read says that in the 1990's they had a turnover of A$65 Million. |
