I’m really hoping yesterday’s excellent win will be a significant turning point in our season in regards to the relegation battle. I also think the team knowing the result from Toulouse beforehand may have eased up a bit of tension which may have contributed to yesterday’s performance.

How good was it to see that performance on Friday !

It was just like how we have played in previous seasons, not particularly creative but every time a ball was on the ground we got to it first and massively punished their errors.

The try’s from Fifita and in particular Murph’s second we’re exactly what we built our game around for years.

If we carry on with the type of defence shown against Saints and Cas, and that enthusiasm to get there first we can dig ourselves out of this hole.

Great to see Kersh back, and thought Gaskell has gone well in the centre.

It's taken a couple of days to come down after that.
Yes, we all hoped for an elusive win but, we absolutely dominated them from minute 1 till the final hooter.
The Murphy length of the field effort and of course, Fifita going 25/30 metres and beating half their side were stand out moments.

Mind you, Hicks was trying very hard to keep Cas in the game and had this match not been televised, it would have been 6 -6 at HT (Cas given Try on field - overturned and Trinity given no try - overturned).

It's easy to get a little paranoid when bottom of the league but, boy, he didn't have the greatest game of his life (understatement).

Onwards and upwards, fantastic performance (and result) and lets hope we can use this going into the last few games.

yes and when you're not getting the TV selection like the love in clubs you can see the lob sided way the competition is amd is no wonder they are further up the table, saying that we have in the past seen blatant no tries given when they shouldn't of

I thought the video ref should have over-ruled the Jamie Shaul one too to be honest. One of the angles clearly showed the ball on the line before Shaul went into touch.

I agree, I've seen much less convincing efforts given and the ball was toughed down before any part of the player hit the touch line.
Maybe, Hicks doesn't have anything against Trin and he's just a poor ref but, those incidents certainly show what can happen when the cameras are not present and given that we very rarely see Trin games on Sky, IF there was any bias, we would be getting right royally shafted.
Mind you, the ref seldom misses a tackle or drops the ball so, we cant blame him/ them for all of our failings.

I though the same, there was one good clip were the ball was down on the line ,but he just looked at it once and just kept looking at the other clips all the time
