As a Keighley supporter I can see we have just signed Jordan Schofield.
Just wondering what Wakefield supporters thought of him and how you will think he will go in league 1 or whichever league the RFL decides to go with next season.

As a wakey supporter and frequent spectator for the last 2 seasons at Dewsbury, also he was in the wakey academy at the same time as my son, I've seen a lot of him and although he's not SL level at the moment, he will make a massive impact in L1 (should that format come to fruition) did OK in a struggling Dewsbury team in the Championship in 2022 and I was surprised Dewsbury didn't offer him a contract for 2023.

It's puzzling the club seem in limbo at present, have the club had talks with the younger players.
The sooner things take shape the better, because all I'm seeing is players departing.

Saw him a few times, he is 22/23 I believe but isn't anywhere near SL level IMO, I think bottom end of Championship/ League 1 is his level

Hes a grafter and trier but like already said not sl level and league 1 is probally currently his level although props do get better with age.i am led to believe he was offerd a deal at wakey but it dodnt match his wage in his current job.
While your here mr hicks whats your thoughts on the keighly hioker doyle seems like hes coming to us

Hard as nails. Good work rate and will do the full 80.
Wouldn't say he is the paciest hooker but you will be impressed with him.
Wish we could of kept him but unfortunately we are at the wrong end of the league structure.
