Money starts to affect decisions as their career progresses, regarding players in scholarships and players so called over looked, then that’s a lot down to numbers clubs are allowed then obviously how they progress wether they are accepted into academy, payments to players will depend on the resources each clubs finances, we were fortunate that Jordan was in college so has never had a day job to distract him, not say that his payments were acceptable at times, far from it under certain management, my way forward is stop paying inflated salaries to over rated over aged players wether overseas or home based and look after the future, hopefully the new regime will think long and hard about this.

But this is the dilemma for any coach/CEO.

Do you put your money into short term signings that will get you short term success or invest in the future but risk falling away while that team/club develops.

If you don't have Ellis type money, investing in youth will be trashed by short term clubs who promise short term success and trophies.

The best clubs find a balance but ultimately, having the money is key.

Now training with London

Think he'd have been better with us than London. He won't get a lot of opportunity to shine there.

I would have been happy for Kershaw to stay. It must have been between Franco and Kershaw.

Kershaw is obviously the better and more experienced winger but reality is we have 3 wingers (4 maybe with Delaney who I think may be a winger).

Shame really as Kershaw would have been effective for yardage carries early in the sets in the championship.
