Typical career progression for a few.
1. Not good enough for who they would really like to sign for.
2. Use Wakefield as a vehicle to prove the doubters wrong.
3. Move on to Cas.
4. Move on to Hull FC.
Career progression: Brad was in the England academy until he came to Wakefield, he was told at 1 of his interviews with another club that he would be guaranteed an England place if he signed for them, he chose Wakefield and then never got a look in after that.
1: Not good enough for who he would really like to sign for. Brad was asked to stay at Leeds, he had 3 other offers on the table and Wakefield wasn't the best of the 3, he chose Wakefield because he felt like it was the best place for him. He liked the family atmosphere.
2: Use Wakefield as a vehicle. Brad has put his heart and soul into playing for Wakefield and enjoyed every minute of it. You can pretty much thank 1 of your recently departed higher ranking members of staff for his departure.
3: Move on to Cas, Brad didn't just have an offer from Cas there we're offers from much further a field, he wanted to stay local to home and family, Cas had been interested for a good few years and it was pretty much an offer he couldn't refuse.
4: Move on to Hull, If Brad decides to move on to Hull or any other club it will be for his benefit and I will know and support him as it will have been the right decision for Brad.
There are always a lot of things going off behind closed doors!
