V pleased for Matty and tiny they really deserve those awards

I wonder if we may have a future trinity captain in ashurst too?

Great evening. Ashurst could be our future captain as MC got him to sign a 27 year deal!

I don't see him as a captain but maybe.
Being a great player doesn't make you an automatic captain.

His awards are very well deserved. I remember some questioning his signing and a couple of Salford fans came on and said they predicted he would be great for us and a fans favourite. How right they were.

I also wonder what the criteria is for MoS? Who votes for that if we have players player, coaches player and fans player?

No it doesn't but In my experience and from my playing days, a player that takes the coaches and the players player tends to be some one very well respected and well liked as well as being a quality player who performs week in week out

They are key points in becoming a team captain
I see matty as the man for the job 100%
