Just had his Labour party propaganda leaflet dropped through my letter box. Probably not known to many because in general he likes to keep invisible. However he is Wakefield's third MP and his Hemsworth constituency covers the South of the City.

Just reading through his leaflet I noticed this, I will quote

'I am the Shadow Minister for the Cabinet Office. I hold Tories to account for the way they run our Government. For example making sure the Tories do not use Government to line the pockets of big business'

I wonder if he also makes sure that labour controlled local government do not do the same ?

I have always maintained that Labour are worse than the Tories because at least you know what you get with the Tories yet Labour continue to pass themselves as a party of the working class but don't hesitate to stab the working class in the back.

Nice to know you read it, I spent 2 hours posting them. Common complaint is that you only hear from MPs at election time, Labour want to involve and include voters all the time. He always answers any letters you write, so...crack on!

You know the Tories are gonna shaft you, but it’s always a surprise how deeply. This lot are worse than Thatcher, & are robbing the country to make themselves rich - and they get votes by promising that you have the opportunity to be as rich as them. Happy to discuss elsewhere if you wish.

As I've stated on another thread, DON'T confuse The so-called Labour party on Wakefield Council with true socialists. They are purely out for their own personal gain and don't give a damn for thee and me.
I've always been a socialist and WOULD NEVER vote for Labour in the local elections. They give the party a bad name.
Of the three Labour MPs in the Wakefield MDC area Trickett is the nearest you'll get to holding traditional Labour values.

Tricky Jon. One of a long line of Labour yes men given one of the safest seats in the country. Did you leaflet for Enright when they banned Ken Capstick?.

He'll be concentrating on the HS2 NIMBY vote at the moment.

Redscat.. I know you are a person of true integrity regarding this.

Wakey Rule.. you obviously have true political feelings for the party which I respect.

However, and this is aimed at both of you in respect of your comments.
I have met Tricket face to face to discuss Newmarket and I got even less response than I did from that pretender Creagh.

May I suggest if you feel truly about the Newmarket injustice, contact him yourselves and see how he responds. Then see what he actually does for the cause. As far as I can gather Belle Vue is actually in South Ward so its in his constituency, (I may be wrong by about 50 yards or so.)
The bloke doesn't have a real clue whats going on and he doesn't care.

Had dealings with the man, in a professional capacity,many years ago.
I cannot say anything positive about him.
